The criteria of sincerity for a productive member of the Krishna consciousness movement

What did Srila Prabhupada want?

I want to KNOW what Srila Prabhupada wanted.

I want to know what his instructions are.

I CARE about what Srila Prabhupada wanted and instructed.

I want to DO what he instructed.

I want to REPEAT Srila Prabhupada’s instructions to others.

I want EVERYONE to know what Srila Prabhupada’s desires and instructions are.

If this attitude is not present in one, one cannot really help the Krishna Consciousness movement. The lack of these aspects of sincerity is the cause of all of the confusion in the movement today, on the part of the leadership and even on the part of the new members, for they have been systematically taught to not think in terms of the above criteria of sincerity. It all comes down to pleasing Srila Prabhupada if we want any real success in spreading this movement, and keeping the acharya, Srila Prabhupada, in the center.

Those of us who do think in these terms have been labeled as deviants and “ritviks”. This is the root problem today: the right way is the “wrong” way.

Sattvic Das: The gurukula system today in Iskcon is geared to produce ignorant followers who do not inquire about what is pleasing to Srila Prabhupada but simply follow instructions of the conditioned souls presented to them by a deviant GBC. It’s a personality cult. My gurudev is better than yours.

Gauridasa Pandita: Yes the GBC and others claim Ritvik is not ‘Vedic’ or ‘traditional’ and avoid what Srila Prabhupada did and said to do. Therefore they are useless mismanagers. Our focus should be on what Srila Prabhupada said and do it.
Ours is not to question why, ours is to do or die!

Vadiraja Das: When we are labeled as”Ritviks”, they are directly mocking the spiritual master who gave us the meanings of things and the proper application. These offenses are accumulating more and more, for their impending and fluid exit from the Krsna consciousness movement.
