Pretty amazing thing has been occuring here with the Hare Krishna religion. Lets see, we have had a sort of 2000 years of Christian history compressedinto in 23 Iskcon years? 

(1) Falsely "appointed" pure devotee popes or gurus; 
(2) Many of these false pure devotees being exposed in illicit affairs and God only knows what else; 
(3) The false pure devotees using violent tactics to repress dissidents; 
(4) Members of the Church "protesting" and starting various reform counter-points. And here is where we have a unique twist in our history: 
(5) It turns out that the original founder was de facto crucified by poison, but 
(6) The false appointees are the prime suspects?

All this has come about in 23 years?

Normally, one can live for a hundred years and only see a few dissidents burned at the stake, a few witches drowned in the pond, and a few people placed in the stocks for a week and then stoned. If you are really lucky you might even come across a one page pamphlet written by an actual dissident, but you will be burned at the stake if you ever tell anyone you read it. That we were able to see all of this "turned on its head" in a mere 23 years is nothing short of a divine miracle. That we have survived to see it is yet another miracle. Thank you Lord! Yes, there is a Krishna dudes and dudettes (and lots of knuckle-heads). This may come as an unfortunate surprise to our distinguished GBC colleagues....
