Authority of the Acharya
Srila Prabhupada presented the transcendental knowledge of the parampara or preceptorial disciplic succession in his books. The proponents of on-going changes after the departure of the acharya (the vikara-vadis) have yet to present verifiable evidence from His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada himself where he specifically and directly authorized these post departure changes.

In our particular case, the importance and position of Srila Prabhupada’s original unrevised books and commentaries is supreme. Srila Prabhupada often stated that “Books [His books] are the basis.” His original books are solidly based on the foundation of the authentic Vedic shastras and the Puranas and the commentaries of the previous acharyas.
