"...it is the desire of Bhaktivinode Thakura to preach the Caitanya cult all over the world and in 1875 he predicted that someone would come very soon who would individually preach this cult all over the world."
Srila Prabhupada presented the transcendental knowledge of the parampara or preceptorial disciplic succession in his books. The proponents of on-going changes after the departure of the acharya (the vikara-vadis) have yet to present verifiable evidence from His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada himself where he specifically and directly authorized these post departure changes.
"...if a spiritual master is not properly authorized, and only on his owninitiative becomes a spiritual master, he may be carried away by an accumulation of wealth and large numbers of disciples."
"So it is not my pride, but I can say, for your instruction, I did it. Therefore whatever little success you see than my all my Godbrothers, it is due to this. I have no capacity, but I took it, the words of my guru, as life and soul."
Srila Prabhupada had often warned about the necessity of keeping the purity of His movement and not to introduce concocted or manufactured ideas. One of the negative results of the various deviant philosophies postulated and introduced by some members of the GBC in the last 19 years has been a rise in nonsensical and disrespectful comments and philosophies against the Sampradaya-Acarya, Srila Prabhupada, the previous Mahajanas and saintly acaryas, such as Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva, Arjuna and the exalted saintly Vaishnava acaryas.
The false theory that a bona fide Vaishnava Acarya or guru deviates or takes on demoniac qualities such as homosexuality, child abuse and/or molestation, illicit sexual behaviors, etc, is a serious philosophical deviation and is not Srila Prabhupada's teachings.
"...we have summarized a few lectures by Srila Prabhupada where he nicely explains who will find a real guru, and how to determine who is a real guru."
All bona fide Vedic debates and disputations are based on Sastra and the authorized commentaries of the previous acaryas. In our particular case, the importance and position of Srila Prabhupada's original unrevised books and commentaries is supreme. Srila Prabhupada often stated that "Books [His books] are the basis." His original books are solidly based on the foundation of the authentic Vedic shastras and the Puranas and the commentaries of the previous acharyas.
Prabhupada anuga devotees in Los Angeles organized a preaching event at the Cedar Sinai Hospital in celebration of Lord Ramacandra's appearance day. The event was attended by around 25 interested hospital employees and staff, according to Madhusudana Murari dasa who organized the event.
In the history of Vaisnavism, particularly in the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya-tradition there are standard methods of establishing the bona fide conclusions of the disciplic succession. The tradition of disputation or debate is a well established practice to firmly ascertain the veracity of one's contentions and points. Such debates were very common in the past to settle controversial and philosophical issues.
